Statue of Saint Andrew

The representation of the Apostle Saint Andrew holds in both hands a cross in X, the instrument of his martyrdom. Located on the north-east corner of the spire base, this copper statue was designed by Eugene Viollet-le-Duc, sculpted by Adolphe Victor Geoffroy-Dechaume and produced by the Ateliers Monduit in 1861.
